Lanivtsi presents its Project Office

Congress#International cooperation

CNAUI’s partners organised a presentation of new opportunities for international cooperation for Ukrainian communities within the framework of European initiatives.

The Project Office of the Lanivtsi Urban Territorial Community (hromada) was presented in the town of Lanivtsi.

The event brought together representatives of international donor organisations, partner cities, the Ternopil Oblast Regional Development Agency, territorial communities, civil society organisations and Lanivtsi City Council, as well as members of the newly established Project Office.

Among the guests of honour were Mayor Roman Kaznovetskyi, representatives of the Ternopil Regional Military Administration, coordinators of UN and Polish Aid programmes, and Lara Levchun, President of the National Congress of Ukrainian Associations in Italy.

The event showcased good practice from projects already carried out in the Lanivtsi community and discussed the prospects for Ukrainian territorial communities to take part in international initiatives. Particular attention was paid to sustainable development, entrepreneurship, European integration and cross-border cooperation.

It is worth recalling that on 11 July this year, on CNAUI’s initiative, a memorandum of understanding between the town of Lanivtsi and the Italian town of Mondragone was signed in Rome during URC 2025.

The document opens up new prospects for cooperation in education, culture, community development and support for civil society.

CNAUI continues to actively foster partnerships between Ukrainian communities and Italian municipalities, providing a platform for sharing experience and resources and for joint development.
