Maryna Kurovska is an artist who found her path in art on the waves of life’s changes. Her creative journey has not been a straight line, but each stage has brought her closer to the truth she reveals in her work.
Born in Khmelnytskyi on 17 February 1979, she found a special refuge in art from early childhood. Paints and lines told the stories that lived in her heart. Life led her down different roads, and although art remained only a distant beacon, its light never went out.
Her move to Italy in 2022, in a time of unrest and trials, was not only a challenge but also a moment of creative awakening. In the atmosphere of Rome, among streets that breathe art, amid the beauty of antiquity and the warmth of the sea, she rediscovered her childhood dream — to paint.
Her search led her to an inner dialogue and a deeper awareness of herself. Art became her voice, a way to express feelings and thoughts and to communicate with the world.
Today she studies techniques, explores styles, immerses herself in art history, experiments, observes and feels. Each of her works is a new journey, a new encounter with herself.
For Maryna Kurovska, art is not simply creativity. It is a path to harmony and freedom, to a deeper understanding of the world. And although she is only at the start of this path, she already knows for certain that it is her true calling.
