Waves all around, seagulls, wind and refreshing drops of salt water – this is how, symbolically, our “Zerniata” marked the start of the new school year.
The open sea served as a blackboard, and the breath of the wind was the first lesson in freedom and inspiration! Our children are like delicate seeds unfolding their leaves towards the sun.
And this first day, this new start, gave all of us a light that will keep us warm throughout the school year. Our pupils are confidently entering a new stage, a new year of learning, with sails full of warmth, friendship and faith in a better future!
They laughed, hugged, talked about the summer and rejoiced at being together again. Surely this is just how one wants to begin a new school year – lightly, warmly and TOGETHER!
