The National Congress of Ukrainian Associations in Italy (CNAUI) at the European Week of Regions and Cities: A Step towards Europe for Prykarpattia
The National Congress of Ukrainian Associations in Italy took an active part in the European Week of Regions and Cities in Brussels.
The highlight for the Congress was the honour of being among the invited speakers at the official opening of the Yaremche Territorial Community’s representation office at the European Committee of the Regions of the European Union.
This is a landmark event: it is the first time a community from Prykarpattia (the Ivano-Frankivsk region) has been represented at such a high level, marking an important step towards European integration for the region.
Congress representatives also held a series of productive meetings with delegations from Italian regions and Ukrainian cities, discussing concrete ways to take cooperation and partnership further.
Taking part in these events confirmed an undeniable truth: no one can present our country to the world better or more effectively than Ukrainians themselves.
The Congress continues to work actively to strengthen the international ties of Ukraine and its communities.
