Thank you to everyone who took part!

The CNAUI Culture Department and project lead Lina Tsepla warmly thank all of you – children, adults, families and groups – for your smiles, your love of your homeland and for keeping the Ukrainian DNA alive. You have warmed the world with your kindness!

15–25 May 2026

Friends, this year Vyshyvanka Day celebrates a milestone – its 20th anniversary! To mark the occasion, the Culture Department of the National Congress of Ukrainian Associations in Italy (CNAUI) is launching the international flash mob “Vyshyvanka Unites the World”.

The aim of the flash mob: to show the whole world the beauty, strength and unity of the Ukrainian soul, and to prove that the vyshyvanka is our DNA, our talisman and our shared prayer that needs no words.

Who can take part?
Everyone, from anywhere in the world! Adults and children, families, groups, associations. If you love Ukraine and the vyshyvanka, you are one of us!

How to take part

  • 3 steps:
    1. Between 15 and 25 May, put on your vyshyvanka.
  • 2. Take a photo or record a video. Any format you like: with your family, on your own, with your children, with your colleagues.
  • 3. Say your line. Add a caption to the photo or say it in the video:
    “I wear my vyshyvanka for…”
For example: “…for my children”, “…in support of Ukraine”, “…for peace”.

Send your entries by 25 May to:

From all the entries we will make one big video collage of unity for the whole world to see!
