“La vita è bella: Synergy of Spirit and Earthly Beauty” by Anna Teslia

Ukrainian Art Weeks in Rome

From 7 to 14 July 2026, Esperienza Europa – David Sassoli in Rome (Piazza Venezia, 6) hosted a solo exhibition by the Ukrainian artist Anna Teslia, held under the auspices of the National Congress of Ukrainian Associations in Italy (CNAUI).

Anna Teslia represents CNAUI’s Department of Culture, is a member of the association “Un Ponte di Colori” (“A Bridge of Colours”) and coordinates the “European Dialogue” platform. She is an active participant in international exhibitions, cultural forums and charity art projects that represent Ukraine in Europe with distinction. She has taken part in numerous art events in Rome, Milan, Trento, Mantua, Tuscany, Rovereto and Lviv, working successfully with the Ukrainian diaspora and European cultural platforms. Speaking to Europe in the language of colour, the artist is also actively involved in charitable initiatives in support of Ukraine.

The exhibition “La vita è bella (Life Is Beautiful): Synergy of Spirit and Earthly Beauty” was a manifesto of unshakeable faith in life, which remains beautiful whatever trials it may bring. In her works Anna Teslia harmoniously combines the grandeur of sacred imagery with realistic, light-filled landscapes of Lake Garda.

The concept behind the exhibition invites everyone to focus on the beauty around us, to find inner joy and to become the creators of their own happiness. It is a space where a spiritual anchor meets living reality, a reminder that light always prevails and that the ability to rejoice in life is our greatest strength.

A special place in the exhibition belongs to canvases that convey the unique atmosphere of the Italian landscape, among them the majestic view in the painting that became the exhibition’s signature image.
