On 8 March 2025, at the European Commission Representation in Italy, in Rome, a symbolic ceremony was held for the signing of Memoranda of Understanding between the National Congress of Ukrainian Associations in Italy (CNAUI) and several Ukrainian organisations and institutions. The event highlights the importance of international cooperation in support of Ukrainian communities and in building partnerships.
The Memoranda of Understanding signed include:
– With the City Council of Pivdenne, Odesa District
The Memorandum aims to strengthen cultural and economic ties between the communities and to develop joint projects and initiatives that improve people’s quality of life.
– With the Dnipropetrovsk City Military Administration
The agreement provides for closer cooperation in supporting social initiatives, helping service members and their families, and developing humanitarian projects.
– With the Tokmak City Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs “Potentsial”
Working together with entrepreneurs will help attract investment, support small and medium-sized businesses and develop innovative projects.
– With the charitable organisation “UA FREE Charitable Foundation”
The Memorandum provides for cooperation in carrying out charitable initiatives, supporting socially vulnerable groups and delivering humanitarian aid.
On the basis of earlier agreements, on 8 March, at the European Commission Representation in Rome, CNAUI President Lara Levchun and the Congress’s Representative in Ukraine, Vadym Sydiachenko, signed on their side Memoranda of Understanding with the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration – Regional Military Administration and with the Chernivtsi Regional Council.
The event was coordinated by Rocco Terracciano, representative of the Department of International Cooperation of the National Congress of Ukrainian Associations in Italy.
