Tamara Razumovska’s “Oltre lo sguardo”: the grand finale of Ukrainian Art Weeks in Rome

From 28 July to 4 August 2026, the Esperienza Europa – David Sassoli space (Piazza Venezia, 6c) in Rome is hosting a solo exhibition by the Ukrainian artist, singer and art coach Tamara Razumovska. The show closes the extensive Ukrainian Art Weeks series, which ran through the summer in the heart of Italy and was organised by the Department of Culture of the National Congress of Ukrainian Associations in Italy (CNAUI) in partnership with the association “Un Ponte di Colori”.
Tamara Razumovska is a multifaceted artist whose life has been bound up with art from the very beginning: music, theatre and creative self-expression. For her, art is not simply a field of activity but a genuine way of being. The outbreak of the full-scale war in Ukraine in 2022 was the moment she deliberately turned to painting as a powerful means of living through and transforming emotions.
Since then she has pursued an active career as a painter, taking part in numerous exhibitions in Italy. She works in portraiture and figurative painting, and has developed an approach of her own — a distinctive combination of painting and art practice for exploring emotional states in depth and working with inner experience through the image. Today her art is a harmonious synthesis of intuition, experimentation and a desire to understand the inner world of the human being.
The philosophy of the exhibition “Oltre lo sguardo”
The title, “Oltre lo sguardo” (Beyond the Gaze), captures its essence precisely. This is an exhibition about emotion, inner states and honest dialogue. Figurative and symbolic works sit naturally side by side: portraits of people who inspire the artist, images of her loved ones, of children and of animals.
Every painting on display in the Esperienza Europa hall is a moment of feeling held still, and every gaze depicted on the canvas invites the viewer to see what lies beyond the visible, beyond the first impression.
An invitation to dialogue
The exhibition is still running, so art lovers in Rome have time to immerse themselves in Tamara Razumovska’s world of images. The exhibition is open until 4 August inclusive, offering a unique opportunity to become part of the closing dialogue of Ukrainian culture within Ukrainian Art Weeks.
