The Rivne Regional State Administration is beginning cooperation with the National Congress of Ukrainian Associations in Italy (CNAUI). The Memorandum of Cooperation was signed by Oleksandr Koval, Head of the Regional State Administration – Regional Military Administration, and Vadym Sydiachenko, honorary board member and CNAUI’s representative in Ukraine.
“For us, this memorandum means new opportunities to develop international relations. Let me remind you that effective cooperation with partner countries at regional level is one of the tasks the President of Ukraine has set for the regions,” said Oleksandr Koval.
At the meeting at the Rivne Regional State Administration, during which the Memorandum was signed, the participants held a substantive discussion of the most promising areas of cooperation between the Rivne Region and Italian provinces and cities.
In particular, they discussed in detail cooperation in the economic, educational and sports fields, as well as opportunities for the rehabilitation of Ukrainian service members, children and the families of fallen soldiers.
This was reported by CNAUI President Lara Levchun, who took part in the event remotely.
“We focused on preparing specific joint Ukrainian–Italian projects. That is why the Ukrainian associations united in the Congress are concentrating first and foremost on building regional ties between the regions, cities, municipalities and districts of Italy and Ukraine,” explained Lara Levchun.
