“The World Through My Eyes” by Nataliia Morzhuk

Ukrainian Art Weeks in Rome

From 23 to 30 June in Rome, the contemporary Ukrainian artist Nataliia Morzhuk presented her solo exhibition “The World Through My Eyes” as part of Ukrainian Art Weeks. The project was carried out by the Department of Culture of the National Congress of Ukrainian Associations in Italy (CNAUI) in collaboration with the association Un Ponte di Colori, with the support of the European Parliament Office in Rome.

Nataliia Morzhuk is a contemporary Ukrainian artist of international standing, originally from Vyzhnytsia in Bukovina. She now lives and works in Rome, where her work explores identity, memory and inner transformation through the language of colour, texture and emotion. Her paintings have been shown at international exhibitions in Europe and the United States, including in Miami, New York and Los Angeles. She has won numerous international art competitions and received the Albero Andronico National Prize as “Best Foreign Artist”.

“The World Through My Eyes” was a heartfelt artistic account of the world as the artist sees it. Through expressive painting, layered textures and a bold palette, she invited viewers into a dialogue about beauty, pain, hope and the strength of the human spirit. Each canvas reflected personal experience and, at the same time, universal human feelings that resonate regardless of nationality or borders.

Nataliia Morzhuk’s solo exhibition was another landmark event of Ukrainian Art Weeks, reaffirming the project’s important mission: to promote contemporary Ukrainian art, introduce talented Ukrainian artists to European audiences and strengthen the cultural dialogue between Ukraine and Italy.
