Ukrainian associations belonging to COORDINAMENTO UNITARIO have backed a large-scale campaign – the European tour of the “shot-up ambulance”, which has become evidence of Russian aggression.
This ambulance comes from Derhachi, a town in the Kharkiv region. At the start of the full-scale invasion it was used to evacuate civilians. On 12 March 2022 the Russians shelled the town and destroyed the local hospital, and shrapnel riddled the vehicle. Since the start of the year Ukrainian volunteers and activists from various associations have been taking it, at their own expense, to cities across Europe to show Europeans first-hand the consequences of Russian aggression.
The ambulance arrived in Calabria on 1 August, and from 15 August it will be on display in the Campania region.
On 24–25 August the shot-up ambulance is due in Naples, where it will stand in Piazza Municipio. The event is organised by the “PHOENIX” association, a member of COORDINAMENTO UNITARIO.

13–14 August – Molfetta, Uniti per l’Ucraina APS-ETS.
