100×100 Bridges of Education – 275 Ukrainian schools in the CNAUI project

“100×100: Bridges of Education” is an initiative of the National Congress of Ukrainian Associations in Italy (CNAUI) to build lasting partnerships between Ukrainian and Italian schools and to develop municipal ties between towns and cities.
The project brings together educational, cultural and spiritual strands:
- it supports Ukrainian children and teenagers living through the war with educational and creative programmes
- it encourages intercultural exchange and an acquaintance with Italian traditions
- it involves Ukrainian mediators living in Italy in coordinating the partnerships
it has a spiritual dimension and offers children moral support.
The project envisages a long-term network of schools, joint online and in-person activities, cultural and artistic events, and initiatives such as “Різдво разом / Natale Insieme” (“Christmas Together”), which help children find friends and emotional support abroad.

✅ What has been achieved

6 November 2025: the first partners’ meeting, at which 100 Ukrainian schools and the partnership coordinators discussed planning events for 2025 (congressouait.com)
More than 270 schools have already joined the initiative, exceeding the original goal (100 pairs of schools). (congressouait.com)

More than 300 schools from Italy and Ukraine took part in the forum.

Dear Ukrainians, dear communities and Ukrainian associations in Italy!
The “100×100: Bridges of Education” project is growing fast and now brings together almost three hundred schools, dozens of communities and thousands of children. We are open to cooperation and warmly invite Ukrainians, associations and community groups who would like to join us and become coordinators of partnerships between Ukrainian and Italian schools.
We want to be clear: our project is for children only.
For their spiritual, moral and emotional recovery.
For new friendships, peace, trust and humanity.
The project has no political agenda and never will.
The National Congress of Ukrainian Associations in Italy is an international cooperation organisation which, as of 30 November, represents 6 regional state administrations of Ukraine and more than 250 territorial communities.
Our aim is that:
children from our Ukrainian partner communities have the chance to get to know Italy, its culture, language and traditions;
Italian children see Ukraine through the eyes of Ukrainian children: sincere, open and strong.
We build bridges of friendship, not political platforms.
Our path is education, culture, empathy and faith in children’s future.

Our project “100×100: Bridges of Education” is developing quickly and attracting the attention of many communities and organisations. That is only natural: successful initiatives are always followed and imitated.
But we have a duty to give a clear warning:
If you see politics, know this: it is NOT OUR project.
It is merely an imitation of work “on behalf of the Congress”, an attempt to use ideas created by the National Congress of Ukrainian Associations in Italy for its own ends.
Our project is:

❌ not created for personal or party interests.
We have one focus: CHILDREN.
Their moral, spiritual and emotional recovery.

How to spot a fake or a manipulation?
Be careful and check:
✔ the dates of events
Did this organisation really take part in the events it names?
Is it not claiming the Congress’s results as its own?
✔ the coordinators
In genuine Congress projects, coordinators are officially appointed and known to the communities.
If strangers introduce themselves to you as “coordinators”, check!
✔ their track record
Do these people have real experience in the communities?
Are there documented events, meetings, papers, partnerships?
Or did they appear only after our project succeeded?
✔ the words “we represent the Congress”
Check it.
Ask for official contact details.
Genuine representatives will always provide verifiable information.
❗ Never get drawn into political games that use children.
It goes against morality, humanity and the principles of the National Congress.
