The Coordination Centre of Ukrainian Associations in Italy took part in the forum under the project “Application and Implementation of the EU–Ukraine Association Agreement in the Field of Trade / EU4Business: Competitiveness and Internationalisation of SMEs”, co-funded by the European Union and the German Government and implemented by the German federal enterprise GIZ GmbH. Today, 29 May, saw the International Business Days, during which the 4th Business Forum of the Ukrainian Diaspora was held.

The Forum programme included a substantive plenary session and panel discussions with the participation of government leaders, key ministries, international organisations and projects working on diaspora development and investment promotion.
The forum was organised by the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI) and the German federal enterprise Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
The Ukrainian diaspora in Italy plays a significant role in strengthening ties between Ukraine and the European Union. Its activities cover a wide range of areas aimed at supporting the economic, cultural and social development of both the Ukrainian community abroad and the home country.
The Coordination Centre actively promotes the involvement of the Ukrainian diaspora in economic exchanges between Ukraine and Italy. Taking part in the forum, which discussed diaspora development and attracting investment, demonstrates the Centre’s role in supporting business initiatives and entrepreneurship among Ukrainians in Italy.
