Assimprenditori and the National Congress of Ukrainian Associations in Italy brought together representatives of Italian and Ukrainian public institutions to discuss opportunities for cooperation and economic development between the two countries. One of the key topics was the role of private investment and capital in Ukraine’s recovery.
Speeches and discussion
The conference was divided into two main panels:
“Italy for Ukraine” – moderator: lawyer Giuseppe Cavallaro
This panel focused on Italy’s initiatives for Ukraine’s recovery, in particular investment in critical infrastructure and the creation of partnerships between Italian and Ukrainian companies. The President of Assimprenditori, Giuseppe Samà, stressed the strategic importance of this cooperation: “This conference is the starting point for building a strong network between Italian companies and Ukraine. We must look beyond the emergency and invest in a future of mutual growth.”
The presence of Giuseppe Rubino, an official of the Apulia Region’s Department of Economic Development, Special Structure for Euro-Mediterranean Cooperation, was of great significance. His address highlighted the key role of international cooperation in strengthening economic, social and cultural ties between countries.
“Ukraine for Italy” – moderator: Oksana Rohova.
In this panel, representatives of Ukrainian regions presented investment opportunities for Italian companies. The speakers were Pavlo Zhurba (Ternopil Regional State Administration), Ihor Pavlenko (Rivne Regional State Administration), Anton Kozyriev (Zaporizhzhia Region) and Oksana Kompaniiets (Odesa Region). The presentations focused on key sectors such as manufacturing, agriculture, renewable energy, industry, transport and logistics.
A special address

“We do not give up, even under occupation. We keep imagining and building the future, knowing that our lands will be Ukrainian again.”
Statements from the participants:

“This event is a significant step towards closer cooperation between our communities. International cooperation is fundamental to Ukraine’s recovery and sustainable development. We are ready to support these initiatives and to work together for a better future.”
Rocco Terracciano, CNAUI representative in Rome:
“Our goal is to build bridges of cooperation between Italy and Ukraine, creating opportunities for both countries. We want to strengthen these ties and help bring about concrete projects for development and mutual growth.”
Lara Levchun, President of CNAUI:
“In these difficult times, Ukraine is showing extraordinary strength and unity, which are the foundation of its recovery and prosperity. Cooperation with the international community plays a key role in this process, and initiatives such as this conference are important steps towards our goal.”
The National Congress of Ukrainian Associations in Italy is an international cooperation organisation built on the associations of Ukrainians living in Italy. This unique structure is key to strengthening the ties between our countries, fostering active dialogue and new opportunities for cooperation.
We strive to strengthen the ties between the Ukrainian and Italian communities, opening up new opportunities for cooperation in every field. Today we are laying solid foundations for future joint projects and partnerships.
The conference “A Bridge for Ukraine’s Revival” demonstrated the importance of dialogue between regional state administrations, business and communities in laying the foundations for peace and prosperity. The event was only the beginning of a collaboration intended to unite Italy and Ukraine in rebuilding the country and building a shared economic future.
