Bilateral agreements on international cooperation
During and as part of the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025 (URC2025), the National Congress of Ukrainian Associations in Italy (CNAUI) signed and ratified a number of bilateral agreements on international cooperation.
These agreements mark an important step in strengthening cultural, educational and humanitarian ties between Italy and Ukraine.
Today, this union of the leaders of Ukrainian associations in Italy is the only structured organisation among Ukrainian diaspora platforms that works systematically in the field of intellectual cooperation. CNAUI runs projects at a strategic level, involving local communities and international partners.
The key people coordinating this work:
- Oksana Rohova, Vice-President of CNAUI — coordinates the organisation’s work in Italy
- Vadym Sydiachenko, Head of the CNAUI Representative Office in Ukraine — ensures synergy between Ukrainian communities and Italian partners
- Natalia Nevalenna, coordinator of the “Brotherhood Across Borders” project
- responsible for initiatives in city partnerships and cultural exchange

These agreements are part of CNAUI’s wider mission: to promote the intellectual leadership of the Ukrainian diaspora and to take practical steps towards Ukraine’s post-war recovery and international support for the country.
