We, a close-knit circle of like-minded people, a cooperative effort and a people’s diplomacy initiative, wish to share with you, sincerely, what lives deep in our souls. We are not merely satisfied – we are deeply grateful that we do not have to associate ourselves with those who scorn the foundations of respect and morality. Our work is an open dialogue with every part of society, but we always draw a clear line between those who walk the same road as us and those who promote destructive views or behaviour.
Those we will never be complicit with:
We do not and will not support those who spread pro-Russian narratives that undermine the very foundations of our Ukraine. This is a matter of principle for us.
We distance ourselves from those who allow themselves to use foul language in public. It simply runs counter to who we are, to our principles of respect and civil discourse.
We have nothing in common with their statements and actions. Their path is not ours.
We are volunteers, and our work is a pure expression of selflessness, for the good of society. While some build their political ambitions on mudslinging and manipulation, we focus on real, tangible work. And you know what? Our results already speak for themselves: most of the information about our activities is published on this website, and beyond that there are many projects that have not yet been made public. This is not pride; it is a fact.
Thus, as people’s diplomacy requires, we have met MEPs of different political persuasions. We conveyed our position, our views and our problems. And there we represented no one but ourselves – the associations that came together and founded the National Congress of Ukrainian Associations in Italy (CNAUI).
We state with confidence that we are all Ukrainians, and that we defend Ukraine and everything Ukrainian.
We invite everyone whose heart responds to these words to join our shared work. Our openness, our transparency and our sincere commitment to our values are what make us strong and successful.
