On the eve of the G7 leaders’ summit held in southern Italy, Ukrainian activists in several cities staged the performance “Make Russia Pay” – “Fai pagare alla Russia”.
The events were joined by associations belonging to the COORDINAMENTO UNITARIO 🇺🇦Ukrainians in Italy 🇺🇦 – Uniti per L’Ucraina (Bari) and Lilea (Florence) – as well as the community “STRENGTH IN UNITY” (Salerno).
The Ukrainians held up placards showing a giant cheque for 300 billion dollars, a way of drawing attention to the fact that Russia must pay for the harm it has done to Ukraine.
It is worth noting that one of the main topics of the G7 summit was Ukraine and the transfer to it of the profits from frozen Russian assets.
