The Un Ponte di Colori (“A Bridge of Colours”) project

Eduard Kravchenko is a master artist from Kyiv who chose the pseudonym Inari Tenko, which has become something of a trademark for his unusual dolls. Most of his exhibitions have been held in Kyiv, where his work has earned particular recognition.
Eduard explains:
“I was often invited to anime festivals because of my passions: kendo, origami and dolls. Where did my interest in origami come from? It started with television, which inspired me. Then I was invited to join a Kyiv origami club, and just two months later I was taking part in my first exhibition. By then I was already creating my own original models. Incidentally, I was taught to fold the Kawasaki rose by its creator, Toshikazu Kawasaki himself.
And the dolls? It all started with a present for my wife. But over time there were thirty of them, and then I wanted to rework them and develop this art form.”
The Un Ponte di Colori project seeks to bring cultures together through creativity, uniting different art forms on a single platform – origami, doll-making and even demonstrations of kendo, the art of the samurai. Eduard Kravchenko and his distinctive ideas will be at the heart of the project, inspiring artists and audiences from all over the world.
The project also includes plans for:
- – Doll-making workshops.
- – Origami lessons from a true master.
- – Exhibitions exploring the cultural synthesis of Ukrainian and Japanese traditions.
Un Ponte di Colori is a bridge not only between Kyiv and the rest of the world, but also between the hearts of people who seek inspiration in art.
So if you would like to become part of this magical world, keep an eye out for announcements of upcoming exhibitions and events!
