Olena Hromova: Art That Unites Beauty and Meaning

The “Un Ponte di Colori” (“A Bridge of Colours”) project

We are delighted to announce that Olena Hromova, a renowned painter and restorer, is taking part in the “Un Ponte di Colori – the Art of Ukrainians in Italy” project, launched by the National Congress of Ukrainian Associations in Italy (CNAUI). The project was created to promote Ukrainian art abroad and to strengthen cultural ties between Ukraine and Italy.

Olena Hromova, a graduate of the Kharkiv Art College and the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts, has devoted her career to restoring many of Ukraine’s cultural heritage monuments and to creating remarkable works of art. A master of pastel and oil painting, she takes an active part in national Ukrainian and international exhibitions.

Olena has lived in Italy since 2022 and has now settled in Rome, where she works actively to promote Ukrainian art. Her work gives a special place to flowers, which symbolise hope and resilience, and to motherhood – images of care, unconditional love and a woman’s strength.

Besides her paintings, Olena hand-paints clothing, turning garments into true works of art. One of these pieces is worn by Princess Marina Pignatelli – a high tribute to the artist’s talent and skill.

Everyone who would like to help promote Ukrainian art is invited to join our shared WhatsApp chat, Union of Artists at CNAUI:

Promoting the art of Ukrainians is a vitally important mission. Art speaks a language that crosses borders, uniting the hearts of people all over the world. Through projects such as “Un Ponte di Colori – the Art of Ukrainians in Italy”, we show the beauty and depth of our culture, building bridges of understanding and cooperation between nations.

Thank you for supporting art that crosses borders!
