supports the initiative of the Union of Ukrainian Veterans POBRATYMY (Italy) and is taking part in organising and running the international live link-up “United for INDEPENDENCE”.
Dear representatives of Ukrainian associations, volunteers, brothers-in-arms, fellow Ukrainians!
The Union of Ukrainian Veterans POBRATYMY (Italy) sincerely asks you to support the initiative of a 12-hour live link-up, “United for INDEPENDENCE”, to be held on 24 August 2025, Ukraine’s Independence Day.
This year we are honoured to take part in the major international live link-up Ukraine + World: “United for INDEPENDENCE”, which will bring together Ukrainian communities, associations and friends of Ukraine all over the world in a shared media space of support, gratitude and unity.
We invite your organisation to join us live, to share a message or a cultural initiative, or simply to show that you stand with Ukraine.
This live link-up is not only an act of solidarity but also a symbol of an unbreakable spirit over which borders have no power. Together, we are the voice of freedom, unity and dignity.

We call on Ukrainian associations, volunteer organisations, state administrations, communities and everyone who cares to support this action of unity, gratitude and solidarity on Ukraine’s Independence Day, 24 August 2025.
How can you support the flash mob?
- – Post the slogan Ukraine + World: “United for INDEPENDENCE” on your pages in any language: Ukrainian, English or Italian.
- – Show that you stand with Ukraine!
Just take three simple steps:
1. Join the WhatsApp group
“United for INDEPENDENCE”
2. Send a photo with the Ukrainian flag to the group (coordinator: Ms Oksana Bilomazur)
- – Individual or group photos
- – Include your city and name
- – We will add it to the interactive map and show it during the marathon on 24 August
3. Write in the group if you would like to:
- – Speak live on air (1–2 minutes)
- – Go live from your own event on 24 August
On 24 August 2025, to mark Ukraine’s Independence Day, we are organising the international live link-up Ukraine + World: “United for INDEPENDENCE”, which will bring Ukrainians all over the world together in a shared media space.
It will be a live broadcast from many parts of the world, with a special focus on Ukraine, in which Ukrainian communities, associations, volunteer organisations, state administrations and cultural centres will be able to go on air with their own events, celebrations and rallies.
The live link-up will also present a photo report of the flash mob, in which Ukrainians from many countries took part, showing their unity, their dignity and their love for their homeland.
We invite everyone who wishes to join this initiative, so that together we can create a powerful media space that shows the world the strength of Ukrainian unity and resilience.
