Dear all,
We would like to tell you about an extremely important event.
We are continuing the work begun at the Forum of Ukrainian Health Professionals (read more at this link).
As a reminder, the event took place on 27 March this year, organised by the Coordination Centre of Ukrainian Associations in Italy with the support of lawyer G. Dallara and representatives of Ukrainian health professionals.
Following the Forum, we sent a letter to the Italian Ministry of Health.
Having considered the Coordination Centre’s request, the Italian Ministry of Health intends to hold a meeting.
This next stage is crucial, as we are preparing a detailed overview of the problems faced by Ukrainian doctors living in Italy. To do this, we need a full picture of the difficulties you have encountered in your professional life here. It will help us present these issues effectively at the meeting and find ways of resolving them.
Your involvement in this process is an important part of our shared work. We hope you will take part and share your experience.
Data on the problems is our strongest argument. Please answer a few questions so that we can make the case for our proposals to simplify the procedure for recognising the qualifications you obtained at Ukrainian educational institutions.
Follow the link (there is no need to give your surname) and fill in the form https://forms.gle/sYgg76YBhR8FBQUz5
Please send in the forms by 14 May this year.
After the meeting with the Ministry’s senior officials, the next step will be a second forum of health professionals. You can give your email address in the form, and you will receive further updates directly in your inbox.
We invite you to join the “Ukrainian Doctors in Italy” community on Telegram via this link:
Thank you for your attention and cooperation. Together we can make significant progress in resolving the issues facing Ukrainian doctors in Italy.
Kind regards,
Lara Levchun, President of the Coordination Centre of Ukrainian Associations in Italy
