Today Ukraine’s finest sons are fighting for life, freedom and democracy. But each of us can show our gratitude by helping those in need.
Every Ukrainian can save the life of an Italian who needs donated blood.
May our yellow-and-blue blood flow in Italian veins as a symbol of gratitude, solidarity and hope. May it bear witness to our unity and to our shared struggle for humanity and for the future.

It is especially symbolic that this initiative takes place on the eve of Easter, the feast on which the Son of God sacrificed His life for the salvation of the world. Today we offer to give our own blood so that others may have life.

For the second year running, with the support of Coordinamento Unitario and the National Congress of Ukrainian Associations in Italy (CNAUI), we are thanking Italy from the heart by organising a blood donation campaign that will be one more act of unity and humanity between our peoples.
