Information session: international protection, temporary protection and the 2024 tax return

International protection
The session covered the procedures and rights associated with international protection, with an overview of the legislation in force and the routes to obtaining asylum.
Temporary protection
Speakers discussed temporary protection measures for people fleeing emergencies, looking at the eligibility criteria and how long protection lasts.
Work permits
Speakers discussed the requirements for obtaining a work permit for asylum seekers and for beneficiaries of international and temporary protection, with a focus on the opportunities and challenges of the labour market.
Tax return (<em>dichiarazione dei redditi</em>): practical advice
Participants received practical advice on filing their tax return, in particular on the tax issues that affect migrants and refugees, helping them to understand the tax system better and avoid common mistakes.
The event was a valuable opportunity to learn more about socially and legally important topics, and it gave participants useful tools for meeting the challenges of protection and integration.
