The accreditation of the National Congress of Ukrainian Associations in Italy (CNAUI) to URC2025 is a landmark recognition of our organisation as the only officially registered diaspora association for international cooperation. It confirms the unique role we play and the responsible work we carry out in the interests of Ukraine.
At the opening of URC2025
Being present at the opening of URC2025, among the limited number of participants admitted to the hall, was not only a great honour for us but also a promise: to work even more resolutely for Ukraine’s future.
The opening of the conference was attended by senior officials:

- – Volodymyr Zelensky, President of Ukraine
- – Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission
- – Antonio Tajani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Italy
- – Adolfo Urso, Italian Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy
- – Olena Zelenska, First Lady of Ukraine
Memoranda of cooperation
Eight CNAUI representatives attended the event. We were personally involved in preparing and signing 7 memoranda of cooperation between Ukrainian and Italian cities. Within the framework of URC and on its sidelines, we concluded more than 20 international cooperation agreements.
We will certainly report separately on the content and significance of these agreements.

The President of the National Congress of Ukrainian Associations in Italy, Lara Levchun, warmly thanked all the leaders of Ukrainian organisations in Italy who are part of our great work. Each and every one of you is a unique part of a great partnership. Your contribution is the foundation of our strength, our unity and our belief in a common goal.
What makes us unique
Our organisation is an example of self-government built on the high principles of democracy and on perseverance. Today we are unique. But we sincerely hope that our example will inspire other Ukrainian associations in Italy. We believe that tomorrow we will no longer be the only ones, but we will remain THE BEST.
